When it comes to the marvel cinematic universe, it is divided into different phases. The first phase shows the origin story of some of the avenger’s core members and how they gathered to defeat Loki. So, recently Marvel announced Phase 4 with some famous titles, which you can’t afford to miss!
In the second phase, we not only continued our journey with core avengers but we also traveled galaxies with Guardians of Galaxies and found new superheroes who helped avengers in their future battle.
In the third phase, the avengers got divided started fighting each other. Got lost in the world of magic with Dr. strange saw new out of the world powers with Captain Marvel. And experienced one of the biggest superhero crossovers to date in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
So after already going through this much what more we can expect from marvel in their upcoming movies and series. Well, when it comes to marvel, they never fail to surprise you and they surely have some big plan for their phase 4. Keep reading find out more about it.
Beginning of Marvel phase 4
Earlier it was announced that spiderman: far from home would be the movie from where phase 4 of marvel would begin but it was later changed and far from home was the last movie in phase 3. Following spiderman, the next movie that was going to come was a black widow and it would have been the starting of phase 4 in Marvel.
But due to this pandemic, all the release dates of movies and upcoming series were pushed back and now it looks like we will be entering marvel phase 4 with Wanda and Vision tv series, which is going to be streamed on Disney+.
Marvel Phase 4 movies
On December 10th Disney made a huge announcement regarding its upcoming movie and as Marvel is a part of Disney so many movies and series were announced in upcoming years. We are not sure ow that all of them are included in phase 4 but one thing I am sure of is they will be awesome. Following is the list of movies that were announced and what we know about them.
Black Widow
The first movie on our list is the black widow. It is a story about Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow. The movie was going to be released this year in May but as we all know due to the pandemic everything got postponed so the new release date is 7th May 2021. It will be the first marvel phase 4 movie.

What do we know about the Movie?
First of all, many of you were thinking that black widow died at the end game then how is she getting her movie, so to clear that thing, events of this movie are occurring after Captain America Civil War and before Avengers infinity war.
There are many other fan theories and trailer breakdowns available on the internet and YouTube, you can watch them if you would like to know more details like who is the Red Guardian. And what Natasha was doing in Budapest. What is the red room academy? But it may also spoil the movie for you so I am not going to tell you about it here.
Shang-Chi & the Legend of the Ten Rings
The next movie on the list is Shang chi and legend of ten rings which is going to be released on July 9th, 2021

What do we know about movie?
Marvel hasn’t launched any trailer or teaser for this movie so we don’t know anything about this movie. All we know is the shooting of the movie is completed and it is going to be released on 9th July 2021. Hopefully, a trailer will be launched soon.

Thor love and thunder
4th part in the Thor series which is set to be released on 11th Feb 2022 as of now but due to pandemic shooting may have been delayed so it can be delayed let’s just pray it doesn’t get delay.

What do we know about movie?
During last year Comic-Con Taika Waititi, director of Thor Love and Thunder gave us a lot of information about the movie. He said that we are going to Mark Ruffalo as Hulk in a cameo. Jane Foster is going to play the role of mighty Thor.
We are going to see Guardians of the Galaxy cameo in the movie. We will not see the fat Thor we saw in Avenger’s Endgame. Christian Bale is going to be the Villain of the movie. And we may even see Beta ray bill in the movie. All of these things were confirmed by Taika Waititi.
Black Panther 2
Black Panther 2 will continue to explore the hidden nation of Wakanda as black panther promised to share its technology with other nations at the end of the black panther. It is set to release on 6th May 2022 as of now.
After the demise of our beloved Chadwick Boseman marvel announced that they will not recast anyone else as black Panther and will give him a proper tribute in the movie.
Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Currently, the Dr. Strange multiverse is set to release on 25th October 2022. It will be the sequel of Dr. strange we show in 2016.

What do we know about movie?
As per the rumors and some leaks from sources what we know about the movie is that we are going to see multiverse traveling as the name suggests. It is said that after time traveling in the endgame and Wanda’s twisting reality in her show Wanda and Vision, there will be some kind of disturbance is created in multiverse.
And as Dr. strange is sorcerer supreme who protects the earth from threats like this he is going to save the earth with the help of Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch.
Eternals
Currently, the release date is not announced for eternal nor any kind of trailer or in-depth details have come out for this movie. All we know about the movie is Eternals are alien caste created by celestial being went into hiding on earth 7000 years ago and now they are reuniting to protect humanity from other threats after Avengers End Game event.

This will be 3rd installment of the Spider-Man series. Currently, we don’t know the release date of the movie. But we know it will be going to awesome because at the end of spiderman far from home his identity was revealed by Mysterio.

Ok, so a lot of rumors are going around about this movie and why this movie is going to be awesome. One of them is we may see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield back as Spiderman. We may see all 3 Spidermen together. None of this rumor is confirmed by Marvel but none of them is denied also so let’s hope for the best.
Other Movies that were Announced…
Except the movies mentioned above a huge number of movies were announced but not much details were released about them. Following are those movies.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3
This will be the 3rd installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy series following the same cast as we saw in the first two-part. It was earlier going to be released as one of the starting movies of phase 4 but after their controversy with James Gunn, it may be included in phase 5.
Captain Marvel 2
Brie Larson is going to return as Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel in her 2nd movie currently known as Captain Marvel 2 and set to release on November 11, 2022.
Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Ant-man and the wasp Quantumania is going to be the 3rd movie of ant man series Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer all are going to return in the movie while Kathryn Newton joins the cast as Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.
Fantastic Four
It has been quite a time since Disney and Fox’s deal has been completed and marvel acquired all of their characters right which was with Fox. And finally, a movie has been announced from the newly acquired characters. Fantastic Four is going to be directed by James Watt.
Extras
Other than these movies, 10 different series were announced by marvel. A new trailer for Wanda and Vision special clip for the Loki trailer for Falcon and Winter Soldier was released. If you want to know in detail about those series let me know in the comment.
