I Want to Eat Your Pancreas
Overview
Let’s start the list with one of the most emotional movies out there and also one of my fav anime movies, I Want to Eat Your Pancreas. If you think you are too tough to cry then you definitely have not watched this movie.
It’s a story about a bookworm protagonist who is deeply detached from the world. He has no interest in others and is firmly convinced no one has interest in him also. But his life takes a turn when he stumbles across a handwritten book titled ‘living with dying’.
He soon finds out that the book is a personal diary belonging to his popular, lively classmate Sakura Yamauchi. She then tells him about the pancreatic disease she is suffering from and that she does not have much time to live. Only her family knows about it and no one else knows even her best friend.
Even after knowing this he has no sympathy for her but caught in the waves of Sakura persistent he concedes to accompany her for her remaining days. As it is said opposite attracts, the lively girl of the class disrupts the normal life of the impassive protagonist. It’s a story of Keima Katsuragi, known online as the legendary “God of conquest” who can conquer any girl’s heart in a dating simulation game. He opts for the 2-dimensional world of gaming instead of the real-world (like we all weebs do XD) as he is unhealthily obsessed with otaku for dating sim games.
His life turns around when he arrogantly accepts an anonymous offer to prove his supremacy. Turn out the offer was from a demon from hell and he is misled into aiding a dumb naïve demon from hell named Elsie in her mission to capture run away evil spirits from hell.
And the only way to capture these spirits is to conquer the hearts of real world 3-dimensional girls. The thing that he hates the most is his goal now and he can’t deny to do this as he is tied with Elsie with a deadly collar. Keima now has his “God of conquest” title on the line to prove his worthiness.

Your Lie in April
Overview
The next anime on my list is your lie in April. A beautiful story about love and music with a touch of comedy and ending that makes almost everyone cries. It is 22 episodes long anime.
It is a story of piano prodigy Arima Kosei who dominated the competition and was known by all child musicians. But after the death of his mother who was also his instructor, he suffered a mental breakdown which resulted in him unable to hear the sound of him playing piano although his hearing is completely fine.
Two years have passed and he has not touched piano yet and views the world in monotone, without any flair or colour. He was happy at living his life with his good friends Tsubaki and Watari until, one day, a girl changed everything.
Miyazono Kaori is a pretty, free-spirited violinist whose playing style reflects her personality. Kaori helps Kosei return to the music world and show that it should be free and mold-breaking, unlike the structured and rigid style Kosei was used to.

Overview
Let’s end this list with one of the most emotional anime movies ‘your name (Kimi no na wa)’. A rom-com/ slice of life movie with an emotional yet happy and beautiful ending. A movie which just makes you lost in its scenery.
The story goes like a Tokyo high school boy wakes up one day and found himself in a girl’s body. At first, he was confused what was happening but then he thought that he is in dream. Same thing happens with the girl she finds herself in boy’s body and disregarded it as dream.
But that was not the case here it was not a dream. Somehow, they both were interchanging their body on random days. They both realised what was the case and tried not to ruin others life when they were in their body. And suddenly they stopped changing body.
But remembered the sensation they had. I would leave overview here as more than this would ruin the movie and I won’t like to do it.
