Overview

So, Naruto is an anime series about a kid named Naruto Uzumaki, a hyperactive ninja knucklehead who was despised by all at the beginning, but then he became the Hokage of his village.

He lives in the village called Konohagakure, the Hidden Leaf. Moments before his birth, the village was attacked by a nine-tailed fox called Kubby; to save the village, the fourth Hokage sacrificed his life and sealed the beast inside the Naruto. Because of which all neglected him, and he aims to become a Hokage to achieve the admiration of all.

This anime series is quite long containing 720 episodes. It can be divided into two parts: One in which Naruto is 12 years old kid. It is 220 episodes long, available on Netflix.

The second one is Naruto Shippuden, where he is a teenager, learning to control the chakra of the nine-tailed beast. This 500 episode- series might be available on Netflix, depending on your region. You can surely watch complete series on other streaming sites like Crunchyroll.

So, the question that arrives here is why you should watch Naruto when there are other action-packed anime like the attack on titan. I liked this anime because it does not only contain a good amount of action, but it also has a good amount of humor as well as some emotional moments that will really make you want to cry.

Overview

The next anime on our list is an action-adventure anime, seven deadly sins. The story sets in a world similar to the European middle ages, where the feared yet honored Holy Knights of Britannia use immensely powerful magic to protect the region of its kingdom.

But some of these betrayed their comrades and tried to overthrow the kingdom of lines. Holy knights defeated them, but rumors are there that ‘seven deadly sins’ are still alive.

This is the story of a group of 7 strongest people each representing one of the seven deadly sins present in the world. For example, the seven deadly sins ‘ban’ represents the sin of greed which is symbolized by the fox in the anime. Seven deadly sins ‘Meliodas’ represent the sin of wrath or anger as you may call, symbolized by a dragon.

In the story, Elizabeth Liones, the third princess of the kingdom try to find seven deadly sins when she finds out that the kingdom will be overthrown by some of the betrayers.

The anime follows the original manga named ‘nanatsu no taizai’. It contains 3 seasons of 24 episodes each and another season containing 4 episodes making a total of 76 episodes.

Seven deadly sins don’t end here, the show stills go on and another season is expected next year.

Clover kingdom where magic is everything; a boy without magic is born. He wishes to become the magic-king of the kingdom.

You must be thinking it’s ridiculous how someone without magic can become the magic-king. Well, that’s where the twist comes in. Don’t worry, I am not going to spoil the fun by giving you spoilers of the anime. If you want to find out how he is planning on becoming a magic knight, just start watching the show.

The show is 155 episodes long, but it’s not the end. In fact, it’s nowhere near the end. The fun has just begun, the new episode comes out every Tuesday. So, what are you waiting to start watching to catch up till the next episode comes out?

The next anime on our list is parasyte. No, I am not talking about parasite, the Korean movie. Parasite and Parasyte anime have no connection at all. So, the question arrives what is this anime? As the name suggests parasyte anime is a story based on alien creatures known as parasyte who must invade and take control of a human host to survive.

Once parasyte have attacked and took control of a human body, they can assume any deadly form they choose: monster with giant teeth, winged demons, creatures with blades for hands.

After taking control of a human body, most of them hide their lethal purpose behind an ordinary human face. No one knows about their secret until one parasyte tries to take over a high school student and fails to do so, resulting in the coexistence of that student named Shinji and the parasyte.

It would be a shame if I am making a list of top anime and I don’t mention death note,1st anime I ever watched. In fact, this was the first anime for most people who started watching anime. In this anime there is a notebook named death note, whosever name is written in that book will die.

The book belongs to Shinigami (grim reaper), who drops it into the human world just because he was bored sitting above in the death realm. The book is picked by a high school student who first used the death note to kill a criminal who was trying to harass someone just to check whether it is real or not.

Why should you watch Death Note?

This is like a gateway to enter the anime world. It is one of the most impressive anime series made to date with a great storyline, suspense, and great animation. Not only that it is only 37 episodes long which you won’t even know when it ended.

After reading the review and seeing this score from Rotten Tomatoes you are not convinced to watch this then I am not sure what will.

Let’s end this list with one of the most emotional anime movies, your name (Kimi no na wa). It is a romance-comedy movie with a slice of life. The story goes like a Tokyo high school boy wakes up one day and found himself in a girl’s body.

At first, he was confused about what was happening but then he thought that he is in a dream. The same thing happens with the girl she finds herself in the boy’s body and disregarded it as a dream.

But that was not the case here it was not a dream. Somehow, they both were interchanging their body on random days. They both realized what was the case and tried not to ruin other’s life when they were in their body.

Suddenly they stopped changing their bodies. But remembered the sensation they had. I would leave the overview here as more than this would ruin the movie and I wouldn’t like to do it

Why you should watch Your Name movie?

I would simply say that there is more than meets the eye in this movie. I would highly recommend watching this movie if you don’t want to start any series.
