Oppo F17 Pro
OPPO has released yet another sleek and powerful smartphone, the F17 Pro. The phone is slim and very handy. Having 8GB of RAM is the best thing about this device which makes the phone super fast, responsive. The Oppo F17 Pro has a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution and the MediaTek Helio P95 SoC processor. The quad-camera back there does a wonderful job generating high-quality images.
The only thing that I felt Oppo could have made better was the front camera. It not only feels that images captured are artificial but also have very few details captured. Overall, the phone looks really good in case of a 4,015mAh battery life and design.
Redmi Note 9 Pro Max
Xiaomi’s latest Redmi Note 9 Pro & Note 9 Pro Max have similar looks but the latter comes with a better camera, RAM, and Charging. This 6.67-inch device has Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G Processor and comes with 33W Fast Charging.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.89 aperture. The other ones are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 119-degree field-of-view, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Unfortunately, This huge display does not get an AMOLED Display(read the article to know the difference between AMOLED and LCD) and has a refresh rate of 60Hz. The Max Version gets 3 variants: 6 GB+64 , 6 GB+128 and 8 GB+128.
The Pros for this device would be a Powerful Processor, Good Camera & Good Battery Life. And the Disadvantage would include Big Size and Bulky to use.
Realme 7 Pro
The Realme could be the game-changer here keeping the specifications of the above two devices in mind. The Realme 7 Pro comes with a striking 6.4 inches Super AMOLED HD+ Display. The device offers Premium Design with Snapdragon 720G processor and 4500 mAh battery. The phone would be available in two storage variants i.e. 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage.
What Realme does really get to standout is it’s Super Dart 65 W Fast Charging which can charge the phone real quick from 0 to 100 in just 34 minutes, Cool isn’t it?. The Pro version is currently available only on realme official website.
Phones Review After Using Them for 3 Months
The most important thing in Smartphones nowadays is Performance, Battery life, and the Camera. I used all three phones and definitely I can that the performance of Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G really gets a step ahead of the MediaTek Helio P95.
Best in Terms of Performance?
We all have heard the Snapdragon processors are good but this time MediaTek has done a pretty good job of handling day-to-day work. Also, the gaming performance of both Processors is good but 720G performs slightly better in handling frame drops. So if you need Performance intensive phone then Oppo F17 Pro doesn’t make it up to your list of those three Phones.
Best Camera Centric Android Phone?
Talking about the cameras all three phones perform a pretty decent job in daylight. But the game really changes during Low light shots. I would the f1.8 aperture and Software optimization of Realme 7 Pro really helps it perform well over Oppo F17 Pro which clearly defeats Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in Low light. In Wide Angle, Oppo F17 Pro performs better than the other two phones. Let’s not talk about Macro lens as it’s just to increase the number of Cameras on the phone. The image out of it is low in quality and is useless.
Next is the Display. If you love to watch content on your phone then I will suggest you buy Realme 7 Pro as it has a Super AMOLED display with a screen to body ratio of 90.8%. Second, comes the Oppo F17 Pro with Super Amoled with screen to body ratio of 90.67%. Redmi Note 9 Pro Max stands last as it features an LCD display with a screen to body ratio of 84.73%. Yeah, no doubt the quality of LCD that Redmi has used is great but the deep blacks of the AMOLED displays are just amazing to watch.
Let’s talk about Build quality. After using all three phones, Oppo F17 Pro was the most comfortable in my hand as it weighs just 164 grams and compared to Realme 7 Pro (182 grams) and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (209 grams). Also the F 17 Pro is a bit thinner with a thickness of just 7.48 mm while the other two are 8.7mm & 8.8 mm. Yeah, it is obvious that Redmi is most bulky as it has the biggest battery of 5000 mAh.
Battery performance is the field where Redmi Note 9 Pro Max really shines. We all know MIUI is the best in Battery optimization and with the massive battery size of 5000 mAh, it knocks down both Realme and Oppo. But Realme doesn’t let itself down as it comes with a 65W Super Dart charge which lets you juice up your battery in just 34 minutes. Also, Redmi packs with a fast charge of 33W and Oppo packs with VOOC 4.0 30W. So yeah it’s your call as the choice would change from person to person.

Unless you are a big fan of taking selfies you should not consider Oppo over Redmi & Realme. Both the phones have almost the same specs & processor but here Realme stands out with its super 65W fast Charging which would be really helpful considering work life.
If you don’t like those three phones then the new Moto G 5G might interest you. The starting price for Moto G 5G is Rs. 20,999 for the 6GB 128GB variant. Motorola’s Moto G 5G packs the new chip by Qualcomm which is Snapdragon 750G. It has just a 20W charging speed which is pretty low-key in 2020.
Those were just my thoughts and what I felt as a user. I am not sponsored by any company, I think every consumer should get the best value for money. Open to any Suggestions/Reviews! Do let us know in the comment section below or contact us via E-Mail.
